Gill Lewis' books have been published in 25 languages and have won awards internationally and in the UK, including the UKLA Book Award and the Little Rebels Award in 2015. Numerous shortlistings include The Red House Book Award, the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the CILIP Carnegie Medal.
Formerly a vet, Gill lives in Somerset with her family and a collection of pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, dogs and a rescued Shetland pony.
